During my studies at Cerritos College in California, I worked as staff writer and social media manager for the college's newspaper, Talon Marks. I wrote over 25 published articles ranging from news, food, sports, features, editorials, blogs/recipes, op-eds with print, audio and visual material.

As the director of research and events for Know Your News LB is a student-led campaign that strove to raise news literacy awareness in Long Beach, I wrote an article on how misinformation affects certain demographics and what one can do to become more news literate.

AFK Travel
As the PR and Digital Marketing Intern for the entertainment company, The Africa Channel, one of my responsibilities included rebranding the AFK Travel website. To acquire more visitors to website, I produced an article about former navy sailor Bill Pinkney, he first African American sailor to circumnavigate the treacherous waters of five great capes.

I am blessed to have gained a numerous opportunities in various industries that helped me grow in the public relations profession.
